Designed the user experience to best suit our persona — the IBM Cloud Specialist.

The platform develops a strategy for a company to migrate to the cloud.

The underlying technology and analytics tool existed, but needed an intuitive experience for the Cloud Specialists.

The IBM Carbon Design System began as a starting point and the visual design evolved to better fit our product.

User Testing

User Testing

Two power users / specialists were interviewed with an early prototype of the new platform.

The first user loved the new format of the Questionnaire, but sought two features to add a bit more flexibility in the platform.

The second user also enjoyed the changes to the new Onboarding, and Questionnaire, but also needed similar functionality as the first.

He also mentioned a few more pain points, which led to quick sketches resembling Excel.

After bringing the iterations to high fidelity, one direction was the clear winner.
